Acid Alloy Wheel Cleaner is a professional-strength, acid-based wheel cleaner formulated to remove heavy brake dust, road grime, and mineral contamination from alloy wheels. Containing hydrochloric acid, this powerful formula is designed to break down stubborn buildup quickly and effectively, restoring alloy wheels to a clean, bright finish with minimal effort.

This product is supplied in two formats — 5 Litre Concentrate and 500 ml Ready-to-Use / Dilutable — each with its own recommended dilution ratios. Ideal for professional valeters, workshops, and experienced users, it delivers fast, deep-cleaning performance where standard wheel cleaners are ineffective.

Directions

Ensure wheels are completely cool. Rinse thoroughly with clean water before application.

5 Litre Concentrated – Dilution Guide

• Heavy Soiling: Dilute 1:3 (maximum strength before risking surface etching)

• Medium Soiling: Dilute 1:5 (ideal for regular cleaning and heavy brake dust)

• Light Soiling: Dilute 1:8 – 1:10 (for moderately dirty wheels)

• Very Light / Maintenance Cleaning: Dilute 1:15 – 1:20 (frequent touch-ups, minimal risk to finishes)

500 ml Bottle Is Ready to use but can be diluted to the following

• Heavy Soiling: Use neat or dilute 1:1

• Medium Soiling: Dilute 1:3

• Light / Maintenance Cleaning: Dilute 1:5

Directions

1. Spray evenly onto the wheel surface.
2. Allow a few minutes of contact time — do not allow the product to dry.
3. Agitate with a soft, acid-resistant wheel brush if required.
4. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
5. Repeat if necessary for heavily contaminated wheels.

Important Notes

• Do not use on hot wheels or in direct sunlight.
• Do not allow product to dry on the surface.
• Do not use on bare aluminium, anodised, chrome, diamond-cut, custom-painted, or damaged wheels.
• Avoid contact with glass, polished finishes, rubber, and plastic trim.
• Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
• Wear protective gloves and eye protection during use.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Store upright in a cool place.
