Watermarks and Limescale

Apply the product to the affected surface using a cloth or sponge. Leave it for a short time, then remove it. Appliances should be cold during application.

Do not use on enamelled surfaces.

Kettles

Pour 100 ml into the kettle and fill with tap water. Stir and leave for eight hours. Empty the contents and rinse the kettle twice with water. Refill the kettle, boil once and discard the water before use.

For heavy scaling, use 200 ml and repeat the process above.

Rapid Descaling of Kettles

Half-fill the kettle with water and bring it to the boil. Disconnect it from the power supply and leave it for 60 seconds to cool.

Slowly add 200 ml of Appliance Descaler and allow the effervescence to subside. If the scale has not been completely removed, gently reheat until the effervescence reappears.

Do not boil. Switch off and allow the kettle to cool. Once descaled, empty the kettle and rinse it twice. Refill with clean water, boil once and discard the water before use.

Steam Irons

Mix 50 ml of product with 50 ml of water in a jug. Add the mixture to the iron and top up the reservoir with water.

Place the iron in a plastic bowl for 15–20 minutes before emptying. Rinse twice with water and wipe dry.

Coffee Machines

Mix 100 ml of product with two cups of water. Stir thoroughly and pour into the reservoir.

Switch the machine on for one minute, then switch it off and leave for eight hours. Switch the machine back on and allow the remaining liquid to pass through as normal.

Discard the liquid and run a full container of clean water through the machine at least twice before use.

Shower Heads

Pour 50–100 ml of product into a narrow jug. Disconnect the shower head and place it face-down in the liquid.

Top up with hot water until the shower head is covered, stir and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly before use.

Surface Stains – Taps, Tiles and Chrome

Apply the descaler directly using a cloth or sponge.

Leave it for a short time, then wipe away.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
